Mentoring involves a young person meeting with their mentor every week. We help young people navigate through life's difficult circumstances. It creates positive, informing, and empowering mentoring relationships with young people to help support them in their decision making. A trained mentor meets with their mentee once a week within school to chat through and catch up on the highs, lows and everything that has happened that week.

Referrals for mentoring are made by the pastoral care team within the school and a child or young person can be referred for a variety of reasons, such as difficult life circumstances, struggling with transition of schools, low self-esteem, anger, grief/bereavement or anxiety.

“Our son has grown in so many ways, we have seen him make new friends on his own. He wants to help me with dinner and has suggested new things to try and he seems to be so much more confident in school.”
